Cameron Borg has been involved in independent / punk music now for over 25 years.

His involvement in writing began when he co-edited fff zine way back in 1985. Now 27 issues and 22 years later APiTO zine is still going strong!

He has also contributed to many other well-known zines over the years including maximum rock n roll, dna, and thylazine. Cameron is also co-founder of online writing collective Pretty Ugly.

In 1999 Cameron was commissioned by Victorian publisher Moonlight to document the independent music history of Central Queensland.

This appeared as PUNK ROCKhampton, covering the period 1979-1999.

Cameron still continues playing music, as a solo artist and also as a member of the bands D.C. and SLAG respectively.

Currently the subject of a documentary tracking his prolific yet low-key career, he is as puzzled as anyone why he was chosen as the film's subject.

Perhaps we can say he is Australia's answer to Billy Childish and leave it at that?
